Storytelling 101

While our game will be heavily based on Story and Dialouge, the biggest brickwall that could be pulled up for a writer is a good start and a good ending. To me, its not so much the beginning of the story I have problems with, rather than having a problem with giving the player control and going from Storytelling to actualy playing the game, as you see, it always seems forced. Except when Square does it.
Or that could just be cause lately they decided to drop the "Playing" part of their RPG's.

Having that said, our game is kinda moving at a slower speed than I hoped it would. Mostly cause I am the main programmer, which is bad, since I am a novice or "NOOB" when it comes to the VX Maker... or any RPG Maker in general, and I have work to do.
So mostly I work on story ideas with the team during the week and work them into the game at its end.

The game will have a huge aspect borrowed of mythology and gods, like Odin, Loki, Fenrir for the Northern Regions, but also areas like Atlantis will be part of the game.
I hope I can show you a few screenshots soon and get this party started.
